Moment of realization

A media platform with political content, written in a literary style that defies the usual dry nature of this type of content. The content will be translated into English using artificial intelligence in an attempt to analyze the latest developments in the current political reality and its security, social, and economic repercussions on the Palestinian cause. This will be shared with media platforms that either agree or disagree with the presented content, based on free discussion without any space for insults, slander, or spreading hatred, racism, or personal attacks on people's beliefs, ethnicities, languages, or skin colors. The core principle is that the raised topics concern human rights, life, and dignity, which are the basic values shared by all ordinary people around the world. In the future, it will develop into a visual media platform addressing daily issues related to the conflict.

The idea for establishing this platform arose amidst the ongoing bloodshed and the horror and ugliness that humanity has manifested through the misuse of sacred and historical texts to legitimize killing and give it a divine status over the past year, as a continuation of a century of successive waves of the War of Myths, fueled by the idea of denying the other and the struggle for eternal projects that consume minds and souls, sustaining the conflict without pausing for a moment of reflection to truly seek solutions to stop this deadly, accelerating rush toward the abyss.

The internet has not only been a means to access open sources of information but has also, in our region, become an open source for spreading incitement, hatred, and violence, suffocating any attempt to curb this recklessness. The vast majority of those who oppose what is happening remain in complete silence, fearing to speak out. At best, they hold a neutral stance, trying to cope with the current situation, which, in the end, neither satisfies nor nourishes any needs. Those who have decided to speak out face marginalization, ridicule, accusations of betrayal and disbelief, and are portrayed as supporting killers and criminals, as if the current reality is an inevitable fate that must be accepted.

Having personally experienced over forty-three years of involvement in the conflict at various levels—ranging from student activism and imprisonment in Israeli detention centers, with intense exposure to the Israeli security apparatus, to organizational and grassroots work, studying resistance literature and the experiences of other nations, transitioning from the era of revolution to the era of authority and official security work, and the sharp conceptual struggles that accompanied all of this—this diverse and modest experience, with its successes and failures, is worthy of sharing its intellectual conclusions about the conflict, objectively, on a broad scale, especially as we witness the genocide of the era, with all its obvious future consequences, open to all possibilities, which no one observing the developments can miss.

All attempts to escape from myths and the inherited thinking on both sides of the conflict in the early 1990s were met with opposition from fundamentalist currents drowning in delusion on both sides. These factions and their alliances, after gaining control of governance and decision-making on both sides of the conflict, have led their societies to drown in a sea of blood. Silence, or holding the middle ground, after all that has happened, has become deadly. It is essential that moral forces on both sides of the conflict, and worldwide, take a serious stand and clearly say, “Enough bloodshed and destruction of people’s lives and livelihoods.” The path to addressing a century-old conflict, with its known features and visible evidence, was laid out by the world with possible solutions that remain in drawers after being stalled by a party that gained its legitimacy in the first place from the same package it now refuses to accept the other half of, bolstered by an impotent international system unable to enforce these solutions. Addressing thousands of years of history with all its distortions and clashes of civilizations, which amount to myths, benefits neither side of the core conflict nor contributes to the stability of the Middle East or the world at large.
